Pros: The staff was excellent in-spite of being very short handed and working 12 hour shifts and only 1 day off.
Cons: Short staffed long waits for service
Recommended: Yes
As I said above long wait. Not enough crew. Even being short staffed and overworked they always had a smile on their face. The music was fun and fit into my genre of rock and roll. Got to dance like I did years ago. I would do this cruise again if they upped their staffing or decreased the size of the guests.

First cruise on Princess
February
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Pools small, very loud music on decks
Recommended: No
Majority were elderly on cruise which was fine but didn’t feel the ship was designed for safety. The pools have a 2 foot brick wall around them so needed to step over to get to wading pool which surrounded the depth pools. No hand rails to make a balance transfer safe. The only way to enter the pool was the ladder at the 6 ft depth. Should be a method to get into shallow end of pool. The hot tubs could hold 4 at the most as long as you were comfortable touching. Two in hot tub was the most comfortable and needed to climb about 5 steps to get to them. There should be a smaller drink package offered. Most activities were singers in the many pub areas. Bingo was simplistic and only 4 games. The non smoking casino was small and not a large variety of games. No tables in non smoking casino. Found soups and some other foods very salty or no flavor to them. Calamari was over cooked and tough. The prime rib and filet were tasty. One good night of entertainment on the first night. The theatrical presentations by the dancers were entertaining.

Our first ocean cruise
September
Pros: A beautiful, new, clean ship. Outstanding service with friendly, enthusiastic staff. Very good options for upgraded dining. Also, watching movies and Monday Night football on a huge TV under the stars was outstanding.
Cons: It was frustrating looking for available tables at the breakfast buffet and the internet service was also glitchy. I also disliked the smoking in the casino.
Recommended: Yes
Overall, it was a great trip in a beautiful new ship. The positives far outweighed the negatives. I would certainly recommend this ship.

Excellent Princess Ship
May
Pros: Ship, Service, Food, Entertainment very good to excellent
Cons: Difficulty making specialty dining reservations included in Premier Package.
Recommended: Yes
Was on the Enchanted Princess for 14 days in the Med October 2023 and enjoyed the ship immensely. However, there were some hiccups in the dining room with a few wrong orders. In all fairness this could be that we were a group of 26 people at three tables. Itinerary and cabins were very good. Just returned May 2024 on the Enchanted Princess on a 7-day Western Caribbean cruise. I experienced excellent service throughout the ship. The food was consistently very good. My balcony cabin was in excellent shape. I spoiled myself with the Premier package. The included photos, reserved seating section for the three main shows, premium drink package, WIFI, unlimited Casual Dining offers along with fresh squeezed juices were an indulgence. The only negative was upon boarding when I went online to book my specialty dining reservations for the Crown Grille and Sabatini's they were already sold out for the week. I was able to eat in both restaurants but they were standby and for very late in evening causing me to miss one of the shows I wanted to see. My suggestion is to prebook prior to boarding if that option exists.

Would consider alternative cruise lines before booking again
May
Pros: New ship, rooms are up to date, piazza is nice, medallions are great
Cons: Not convinced princess plus is worth it. Main dining with my shipmates was never organized well, medallion service only worked half of the time, buffet dining was not that good, system to get sushi dinner was awful.
Recommended: No
I’ve only been on one cruise before and I was through Royal Caribbean on an older ship. Services on that ship may been outdated, but was far superior than my experiences on the princess cruise. I did see that the white stuff did not work well with each other often they look confused after, trying to come up with solutions. I paid more for this cruise and was expecting a better experience and I was disappointed.
