Alaska's Glaciers and Whales Tour
June
Pros: Excellent service by both the expedition staff and the hotel (cabin and dining room) staff. Informative and friendly, they made a real effort to learn our names and needs.
Cons: Communications could have been more precise and complete. For example: Engine room tour will commence at "1:45 or 1:30 or whatever". Also we were told to have bags out before breakfast on last day, but not that the bags would be transported to airport on a separate vehicle. Good idea that worked well, but we had to ask at the Hospitality Center where our bags were.
Recommended: Yes
The Photography theme departure was excellent. The professional on board was informative and patient. Cultural visit to Kake was a plus. The pre-cruise addition to Talkeetna and Denali was very good.
