Rhine Cruise 2022
April
Pros: food, cleanliness, locations
Cons: very few
Recommended: Yes
1. Great logistics: being picked up at the airport, not having to handle our bags, luggage was delivered to the hotel, then to our room, to the ship cabin, to the bus coming home, to the hotel room. colored bag tags to expedite coming and going 2. the food was wonderful. very nice selection. very professional wait staff 3. very clean comfortable cabin. 4. the Rhine itself is a fascinating destination. We learned so much history. 5. The Keukenhof gardens were spectacular. I'd highly recommend that side trip. We were lucky to have a warm sunny day and the flowers were gorgeous.

Rhine River Cruise 2019
June
Pros: The Viking staff was so helpful and organized. They were all friendly and helpful and we didn't have to worry about anything.
Cons: The only thing I wish I had been told about was getting our luggage in Zurich. We went to get our baggage as usual when getting off a plane, but we were shuttled onto trains which took me by surprise. It worked really well but I was caught off guard.
Recommended: Yes
It was a wonderful trip. The guides for each of the excursions were all so knowledgeable and personable. We were so relaxed and met wonderful people. We also used the walking track, golf and shuffleboard on the top deck. Fun!

Great cruise. Bad send off.
April
Pros: Attentive staff. Lovely scenery.
Cons: Poor coordination for airport transfer at end of trip.
Recommended: Yes
Our bus to the Basil airport was scheduled to leave the dock at 4:40 am. Everyone was on the bus on time but it took at least another 30 minutes to load the luggage, which made us late getting to the airport. I got to my gate 3 minutes prior to departure time. Luckily they held the plane, but the bus delay made it way too close for comfort and very stressful.
