Not quite the exceptional. Windstar experience I am use to
January
Pros: Crew food ship entertainment
Cons: A number of minor annoyances
Recommended: Yes
My expectations of Windstar are very high after previous trips. Food very good, crew very good. Entertainment good. Liked the ship. Was greeted initial on board with perfunctory hand shake. No cool drink or bottle of water. We have cocktail hour libation. No hors d’oeuvres but stale potato chips. Just little things you do not expect

January
Pros: Max 311 guests on board. Dining experiences were consistently superb, cabins were spacious and bathroom shower had excellent water pressure. Staff on every level went above and beyond to assist.
Cons: Very small elevators, musty odor in some doorways (outside spa particularly). Entertainment and entertainment options onboard did not match the quality of the rest of the ship.
Recommended: No
Windstar did an excellent job with its recent 250 million dollar renovations to expand and redesign their ocean ships. We loved the intimate nature that can't be duplicated on larger ships. The staff went above and beyond to anticipate any needs and consistently delivered. There is a reason why there was such a high number of repeat cruisers on board and we plan to be among them in the future!

Amazing Trip to Iceland
August
Pros: Friendly crew, great service, super food, casual, large cabins
Cons: None for us but some might like more evening entertainment
Recommended: Yes
Both the cruise and the pre-cruise land tour exceeded all expectations. Iceland had been on our list for quite some time, and it did not disappoint. Loved seeing the country on a smaller cruise ship that could get into the very small ports there. Amazing service, excellent quality food, rooms were quite large for the ship size. Specialty restaurant truly outstanding.

Great Canada and Northeast cruise on star pride
October
Pros: Small ship, easy to get around in ...great cabins, helpful crew, friendly passengers, wonderful food
Cons: small elevators
Recommended: Yes
Could be difficult for people with mobility issues due to the small size of the forward elevators. I injured my knee and had to use a transport chair to get around in....difficult at times. However, the crew and fellow passengers were all wonderful at helping out! Would definitely choose WindStar again.

Mediterranean Cruise
June
Pros: Superb dining and guest care. Uncrowded and relaxing environment.
Cons: Not actually a negative, but the ship lacks entertainment, so simply relax and entertain yourself!
Recommended: Yes
Not geared toward 24/7 party'ers or Millennials at all, thank the Lord!!!
