Rhine River
November
Pros: Suites, food, service, ports
Cons: Upper deck so so. Not the most comfortable. No bar, no couches, no comfortable chairs. Not manned by staff.
Recommended: Yes
Overall a good company. But the views of the castles and the Rhine River are best from the top deck. It was chilly but many people up there. No bar, not manned although staff did come up with trays of drinks but not the same as a staffed bar. Chairs were metal and not padded enough, no couches as on Crystal.

S.S. Antoinette Rhine River Cruise
September
Pros: Excellent dining, excellent staff attentiveness, very clean and spacious
Cons: None
Recommended: Yes
The staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The dining was excellent, lots of different kinds of food, something for everyone‘s taste. Everything on the ship was very clean, the rooms were spacious, inviting and comfortable. The shore excursions were very well organized, and the guides were very knowledgeable and made the experience a real education. We enjoyed the special 70s evening on the ship, but did not much care for the other entertainment. Overall we enjoyed our trip very much, it was very relaxing, we had lots of fun and also made lots of new friends. I would recommend this cruise to anyone that wants to enjoy a vacation on the River!

Do Not Recommend Uniworld Rhine River Cruise
August
Pros: staff, service
Cons: food, excursions
Recommended: No
Staff were all friendly and helpful and provided great service. There were some tasty dishes on the menu but overall the food was not good and sometimes inedible. The free excursions (walking tours mostly) happened so early in the morning we missed all of them. Usually there was nothing to do in the afternoon. The paid excursions were horribly expensive and too long away from the boat. Overall, there was very little programming and not much to do. Dinners dragged on and on--the staff did their best to get everyone served in a timely manner but there's no way to do that. They need to figure out a new system for dinners.

2024 Uniworld Cruise - Rhine River
May
Pros: Beautifully appointed ship.
Cons:
Recommended: Yes
The safety card in our state room showing our emergency meeting area needs to be clearer. The letter B was in white on a yellow background and very hard to see. We did not know our meeting area was area B until the safety meeting. The letter needs to be much more prevalent and easier to see in case of an emergency.
